Opposition fans have thrown monkey chants at the Brescia forward numerous times, and the recent slurs in the game against Hellas Verona pushed him enough to walk off the pitch. By the 53rd minute, the supporters were hoarding up whistles and monkey chants towards Balotelli, as the forward picked up the ball mid game and kicked it towards the stands, before deciding to leave the match.
