Nokia unveils 222 and 222 dual-SIM feature phones

first_imgNokia has just unveiled two new phones. The Nokia 222 and222 dual SIM are the company’s new internet enabled phones.Priced at around $37 (Rs 2,440) the phones are said to have 50hours of standby time.Both phones are based on the Series 30+ OS. A tiny 2.4″QVGA screen is present which is just big enough to run the Opera Mini browserand Bing Search. In terms of connectivity, the phone supports 2G/EDGEconnectivity. There is no 3G or Wi-Fi available. A Bluetooth-based servicecalled SLAM is there in the phone for local file sharing.Some other important apps in the phone includes Facebook,Twitter, FB Messenger and GroupMe. Interestingly the phone also comes preloaded with games like Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Midnight Pool 3, thoughthe graphics for them will obviously be toned down for a tiny screen. Thephone’s memory can be increased via microSD card up to 32GB. You can listenmusic in an in built MP3 player and FM radio. The phones also sports a 2MPcamera with a video resolution of 320 x 240px @ 15fps.
